let me start off by saying pandora is my {shit}. i recently got turned on to pandora, and i must say, it's my new favorite website since coporatebook. so this morning i log onto pandora-which i normally do when i'm doing homework, or withering away in the computer lab where i work and type this ish-and i'm listening to my "The Roots" station, and came across a song i haven't heard in years. Gang Starr - Rite Where U Stand. that song made my head nod sooo frickin hard. dope ass nostalgic Primo beat coupled with verses from Guru and Jadakiss, i was in bliss. follow that up with Elements of Style by All Natural, Declaration by De La Soul, Love Is by Common, etc. and you have a great frickin start to your day!
lately i had been a little disappointed in Hip Hop, mainly because of the lack of lyrical ability and the fact that babies nowadays fall out of the womb with mics in their hand. i had been growing bored of Hip Hop and started listening to a lot of Motown, and classic rock. but today, pandora has helped rekindle my love for Hip Hop.
Genius.
